Human Services works with organizations and individuals to enable Shoreline residents to meet their individual and family's needs for physical, mental, social and economic well-being through an effective and accessible system of services.

The division is responsible for Community Development Block Grant and City General Fund allocations to local human service agencies that provide services to Shoreline residents (such as food and financial assistance, shelter, family support, counseling and senior services).
