Engineering Standards
The purpose of the Engineering Development Guide (EDG), as stated in the Shoreline Municipal Code, is to establish minimum requirements for the development of transportation-related facilities, surface water management, traffic control and safety markings, and other improvements within the City right-of-way. The EDG contains the design specifications and standard drawings necessary for development and construction within the City of Shoreline.
Revisions to the Engineering Development Guide 2007
Public Works and Planning & Development Services Staff review and, if necessary, revise the EDG on a yearly basis. Revisions are considered based on evaluation of new construction techniques and materials as well as comments from the public and City staff. The EDG is a living document that can be modified at any time throughout the year so be sure to check back often for revisions.
The Engineering Development Guide 2007 is now available. This copy supercedes all other editions for all new projects. The EDG 2005 may be used for submittals until May 31, 2007.
