• Communities Count, 2008. Social and Health Indicators Across King County. Includes 38 social, health, environmental and arts indicators that are updated every 3 years. Indicators reflect valued conditions identified by King County residents.
• North Urban Human Services Alliance (NUHSA) Tool Kit
  This Tool Kit is a set of actions that local cities can take to promote the health and well-being of their constituents and communities

• American Community Survey (ACS): The ACS is an ongoing survey sent to a sample of residents that describes characteristics of Shoreline’s population and helps determine where to locate services and allocate resources. The ACS replaces the long-form of the Census that asked social, economic and housing questions. The most recent three year sample is 2006-2008.
