Arbor Day Celebration
Date: 11/17/2012 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

TreeJoin us in celebrating the importance of planting trees!

Traditionally celebrated on the second Wednesday in April, the City of Shoreline will honor the day by planting 27 trees at the Park at Town Center located at 17500 Aurora Avenue, just north and west of City Hall along the Interurban Trail.

It has been over 135 years since J. Sterling Morton founded Arbor Day. "His simple idea of setting aside a special day for tree planting is now more important than ever."

All are welcome. For more information contact Parks Projects Coordinator, Maureen Colaizzi at mcolaizzi@shorelinewa.gov.
