Amateur Radio Group - Shoreline Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS)
In times of crisis, normal communications may not be operational. To help, the City of Shoreline utilizes a team of volunteer amateur radio operators, the Auxiliary Communications Service. The team can be deployed to field locations where citizens are experiencing communications problems. Other team members report to a communications hub in the City's Emergency Operations Center.
