The Shoreline City Council meets on Mondays of each week at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall. Should any meeting date occur on a legal holiday, the meeting shall be cancelled. There will be no meetings between December 15 and the end of the year.

All City Council meetings are open to the public and governed by a state law called "The Open Public Meetings Act" (RCW 42.32). At a public meeting, anyone may attend the meeting and observe. For further rules governing City Council meetings, review the Council Rules of Procedure.

Shoreline City Council meetings also provide time for Public Comment and occasionally community presentations are featured. When needed, the City Council holds Public Hearings, hears Quasi-Judicial Items and deliberates in Executive Session
