The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services/Tree Board is now accepting applications to fill vacant youth positions

2013 Youth Application for the PRCS/Tree Board

The City Council established the Tree Board in 2012 as part of the Council's decision to become a Tree City USA.  PRCS Board members also serve as the Tree Board. The Tree Board oversees the public trees in the right-of-way and all trees in parks and City owned property. Tree planting, pruning and removal in the right-of-way, parks, and city owned property are under the purview of the Tree Board. The Board will also conduct an annual Arbor day celebration and work to educate the community on the value and proper care of trees in our community.
